DKA I totally agree with you .THIS IS SHAMEFUL that St.Lucia has come to this state. It's aslomt like its in a State of Emergency. In a State of Emergency meaning that the stituation is so bad/ out of control that they will need at some point some outside HELP to fight the crime situation, looking forward to the Isrealis.I live in New York City with a population of 10 million and still NYC is considered one of the most safest cities to live in America. Back in the late 90 s and now Guilliani then the mayor of New York did some phenomenal work to clean the City of the heightened crime that it was experiencing. Now Mayor Bloomberg has been doing a wonderful job ensuring that this trend in NY continue to keep the criminals and guns off the street becomes successful. Not too long ago Mayor Bloomberg held a campaign to keep guns off the street and it worked.St. Lucia Police force needs to do it's necessary homework and research to see how it can follow the trend and successes of New York.We are always complaining and giving excusses that we don't have the resources because we are a small island. The reason we are a small island is because we think too small mindedly. If the RSPF has a strategy to solely defeating these criminals and getting guns off the streets as their main priority, we would see some progress.Take for instance the crime and the drug war that is happening in Mexico. Don't you think that their Tourism Industry is being affected HELL YEAH!!!! HELLO!!!! The United States Department of State is giving warnings and keeping track of it's citizens from entering Mexico!Does St.Lucia want to be SLAPPED with one of those warnings. The US consulate in Barbados is monitoring our crime wave in St.Lucia, and trust me they don't give too hoots. Barbados is already carrying the torch as the caribbean islands premier vacation destination.Tiger woods and many celebrities have been married over there. Saint Lucia THIS IS SHAMEFUL SOMETHING NEEDS
